Quick notes before you dive in

When you sign up with Fohr, you join a community of over 250,000 creators who have access to partnership opportunities with leading brands. Signing up is free and adds you to our community, where both the Fohr team and our subscription clients can discover you based on your unique attributes - from your content themes and audience demographics to the brands you typically engage with. We look at important metrics like your follower count, demographic makeup of your audience (age, location, interests), and the type of content you create to match you with relevant brand partnerships. Through Fohr, you can receive opportunities for paid campaigns, event invites, and brand collaborations that align with your authentic voice and audience.

Benefits to Fohr

I’m new to Fohr, what should I do?

  1. Apply for Verified Reach to show brands your following is engaged and authentic. Verified profiles get a green badge, signaling legitimacy. Check out our blog post for more info and apply here.
  1. Join Fohr's Discovery platform to make your content searchable by brands. Apply for exclusive opportunities via Bulletins. Keep in mind, opportunities depend on how well your profile fits the brand's criteria or if they’ve added you to their list. You might get discovered through the platform, so when brands reach out, ask how they found you!
  1. Make sure your profile stays connected. A complete profile helps brands and agencies learn more about you. How? Through your social connections. If you change your Instagram password, we lose access, meaning we can't pull insights or display your account. Without reconnection, brands won’t find your profile when using filters like following size. So, be sure to reconnect your Instagram on Fohr after any password change.
  1. Gather Testimonials. Follower Testimonials offer social proof beyond just numbers, showing brands why your audience is invested in you. Share your link on social, collect Testimonials, and feature them on your profile or use them in pitches.
  1. Pitch directly to brands using your Fohr press kits. You can also download press kits to make pitching seamless.

  • Profiles: Analyze your numbers to uncover what resonates with your audience, and adjust your content accordingly. Track metrics and information including Average Reach, Most Engaged Posts, Sponsored Content Percentage and more.
  • Press Kits: Download a customized, up-to-date PDF press kit at any time.
  • Testimonials: Drive your audience to leave Testimonials on your Fohr page – and hear directly from followers about why they follow you, what category you influence them in, and how often. Read more.
  • Bulletin: Register your interest in potential Gifting and Pro Bono Opportunities. Similar to applying to a job, while you might not hear back from brands, Bulletin offers a great way for you to introduce yourself, and get your name in front of their team for review.
  • Verified Reach: Have your Instagram account scanned and verified to show that you are reaching an average (or above average) percentage of your followers.
  • Content Search: Pitch your dream brands and send post-campaign reports to your contacts by searching a keyword, handle, or hashtag in your content.

Working With Brands

  • Direct outreach and pitching
    • Typically, influencers will pitch themselves to brands — using contacts and press kits to share their story. You can leverage the Content Search tool offered in your profile to pitch your existing brand contacts on content you’ve tagged them in. You can also download press kits to make pitching easy as 1, 2, 3!
  • Fohr clients & exclusive opportunities
    • Joining Fohr can also help you reach brands! Once you’ve signed up to Fohr, you’re essentially putting yourself in our directory of influencers and make your social content searchable to our clients across brands and agencies. Fohr also offers exclusive branded opportunity applications via Bulletins, but these aren't guaranteed.
  • You may not realize it, but if you are approached by a brand, they may have found you through Fohr, since your direct email address is on your Fohr profile. If a new brand reaches out to you, you can always ask them how they discovered you to get an understanding of where your 'leads' are generating.

Opting Out Of Emails

    1. Navigate to your Settings
    1. Scroll down to Email Preferences
    1. Select what newsletters you’d like to unsubscribe from by clicking on the blue checkmark
    1. Press Update

Creating & Managing Accounts

  • How to Create an Account
    • Click I am an Influencer or Ambassador
    • Create your Username and Password
    • Complete the onboarding questionnaire — don't forget to connect your socials!
  • Log into your account
    • Enter your Username and Password
  • What is an IG Business or Creator ACCT
    • Personal, Business, and Creator. If you’ve never switched your account type, then you likely have a Personal account. However, Instagram doesn’t allow brands much access to Personal accounts through its information highway (known as an API). Therefore, switching to a Business or Creator account is the best way to let a brand know that you’re serious about being a partner and allows them access to your social stats, content, and Instagram Stories.

    • We understand the importance of privacy in the digital age. We take your security very seriously — as made clear in our Privacy Policy. Any information that you’re sharing with For or a brand will be kept confidential and you can delete your profile at any time.

    • You can update any unique information in your settings page. Keeping your information up to date is vitally important to ensure brands have the most accurate information about you and we can match you with the best fit campaigns.
